Jindal Stainless Limited has collaborated with Global Compact Network, India and Global Business Initiative (GBI) to promote and protect human rights within the company and its area of operations. The engagement would be to strengthen partnerships through training programmes and exposure of Management & employees on the issues related with human rights.

Efforts are also being made towards incorporating the new UN resolution based on John Ruggie's 'Protect, Respect and Remedy' framework. This framework lays the foundations of a system for better managing business and human rights challenges based on distinct yet complementary responsibilities for States and corporations and effective remedy in case of abuse.

Training programs have been organized at various locations on Global Business Initiative on Human Rights as a business case by Mr. Mark Hodge, Director Global Business Initiative. These programs have been conducted to sensitize senior management and employees towards the issue of Human Rights.
