Smt. Savitri Jindal, "Chairperson Emeritus" of the O.P Jindal Group is a former Member of the Legislative Assembly of the state of Haryana, from Hisar Constituency. As a Minister, she held the portfolio of Urban Local Bodies in the Government of Haryana. She is a devoted social worker and strives to continuously work towards upliftment of the weak and backward sections of the society through various initiatives like women empowerment, health care, education and environment. Mrs. Jindal has been instrumental in launching various Housing Schemes and Computerizations of Land Records in Haryana.

A commerce graduate and alumnus of the Wharton School of Management, Mr Rattan Jindal is the Chairman of the stainless steel manufacturer, the Jindal Stainless group. Part of the USD 18.5 billion OP Jindal Group, the first foundation of Jindal Stainless was laid with its incorporation in 1970. Under his stewardship, the company has grown from a producer of basic stainless steel products to over USD 3 billion provider of stainless steel solutions.

Known for his technical proficiency and intimate knowledge of customers and markets, Mr Rattan Jindal is synonymous with stainless steel in India. As a vanguard of innovation in steel industry, his focus has not only been on producing world class stainless steel products but also on promoting the usage of stainless steel in myriad applications. His vision of Jindal Stainless is to improve the lives of people by producing and promoting a metal that is corrosion resistant, durable, infinitely recyclable and inherently stainless.

Having established the Jindal Stainless facility in Hisar (Haryana, India) as the only specialty stainless steel maker in the country, Mr Rattan Jindal set up the Jindal Stainless facility in Jajpur (Odisha, India) in 2011. Today, the two plants employ over 12,000 people, and have a capacity to produce 1.8 million tones of stainless steel. The company provides home and kitchen solutions through its subsidiary, JSL Lifestyle. Mr Jindal has expanded the frontiers of Jindal Stainless to reach a global audience. Apart from operations in Indonesia, the company has sales offices and service centres across several nations.

Social commitments remain as central to Mr Rattan Jindal’s businesses as they were to the founder of the Jindal Group, Shri OP Jindal. Established by the group, the 600-bedded multi-specialty charitable hospital, the famed VDJ School (VDJS) and the OP Jindal Modern School in Hisar (Haryana, India) stand testimony to this commitment. The group undertakes several initiatives at the plant level to empower local communities through self-reliance. The interventions include technical & vocational training, micro-financing & livelihood generation, tailoring, farming & poultry training, and environment conservation drives.

True to his sportsman spirit, Mr Rattan Jindal is a keen golfer, and takes avid interest in tennis and cricket.

A Boston University graduate in Economics and Business Management, Mr Abhyuday Jindal has a wide ranging experience in the areas of project management, supply chain systems and strategic & general management. Currently, he is the Vice Chairman of Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited.

Mr Abhyuday Jindal started his career with the JSW Group. There, he played a prominent role in the stake acquisition of Ispat Industries and the post acquisition integration of JSW and Ispat. He then moved on to the Boston Consulting Group, where he managed project consultancy for diverse industries, including cement, steel, wind turbines and auto components. Having gained a deep understanding of the industrial manufacturing arena, Mr. Abhyuday Jindal entered the USD 2.8 billion Jindal Stainless Group as a Management Trainee.

Driven by the ambition to go beyond the ordinary, Mr. Abhyuday Jindal took multiple strides in improving supply chain and operational efficiencies. Today, he is shaping the Jindal Stainless Group into a far more dynamic, responsive, predictive and solution-based organization. As a leader in the stainless steel landscape of the country, Mr. Jindal has explored and unlocked new avenues for providing stainless solutions to stakeholders with the vision to improve lives. Helmed by him, the Group has built uncontested market leadership, and made foray into new fields. It was under his stewardship that JSHL bolstered its unique competitive advantage in the manufacturing of special stainless steel grades for nuclear and defence sectors.

Strongly rooted in the Indian soil, Mr. Abhyuday Jindal’s community-centric transformational approach has led to the development and sustenance of several empowerment initiatives in and around its production facilities. His signature style has endeared him further among employees. He personifies open and participative management, a consistent culture of dialogue and feedback, and a relentless march towards continuous improvement. Mr. Jindal also serves as the Vice President of the Infrastructure Industry and Logistics Federation of India, endeavoring to forge stronger and wider public-private partnerships.

Mr. Gautam Kanjilal, a post-graduate in Economics, started his career as a Probationary Officer in July 1972 at State Bank of India. In his more than 37 years of service in SBI, he held many important administrative and business assignments covering a large matrix of banking operations, including credit management and forex. He was also posted at the corporate headquarters of SBI Capital Markets Ltd, the merchant banking arm of SBI, where his responsibilities covered project finance, debt syndication and handling capital issues. Among the important assignments he subsequently held in SBI were as AGM (Planning), Kolkata, Dy. General Manager (Accounts & Compliance) at SBI’s Corporate Centre, Mumbai, Chief Executive Officer of SBI’s New York operations, General Manager (Mid-Corporate), Kolkata and lastly as Chief General Manager, Delhi Circle, from which post he superannuated.

Master degree in nuclear physics, a post graduate diploma in management sciences and Certified Associate Indian Institute of Bankers. 32 years of work experience, served as Managing Director of State Bank of India in the year 2008.

Graduate in economics and law, is an eminent corporate lawyer and a partner of Suman Khaitan & Company. Member of the executive committees of the Indian Chambers of Commerce.

Mr. Subrata Bhattacharya possesses a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. After completing his Bachelor’s in 1982, Mr. Bhattacharya went on to hone his expertise further and successfully received his Masters in Metallurgy 1985.

His conspicuous talent got him to Head the Steel Melt Shop at Steel Authority of India (SAIL), largest producer of steel in India in 1992. After serving for 10 years in a public sector enterprise, Mr. Bhattacharya carved his fate with Jindal Group. His toil of 15 years at Jindal Group took him to the position of Director-Operations, at Jindal Stainless in 2007. As Director – Operations, he heads Operations and Distribution of all the products of the Company . He possesses a rare combination of technologically superior acumen with extraordinary leadership skills that has made him to play a pivotal role in developing various Stainless Steel Grades including, Chrome-Manganese (200) series. He is credited with many technical papers on stainless steel and is continuously engaged in Research & Development work at various platforms.

Ms. Bhaswati Mukherjee, a Retired Diplomat, is a graduate from University of Delhi and has completed her Degree (Superior) in French History and Civilization, Sorbonne University, Paris, France.

Ms. Mukherjee has versatile experience of more than 38 years and has expertise in Human Rights, Disarmament and Arms Control Issues, World Heritage, Culture and Cultural Diversity, Gender Issues, India´s relations with European Union, EU Expansion and Euro zone Crisis, Refugee Rights, Management and Administrative Reform and on Corporate Governance. She has successfully completed FICCI course on ‘Woman and Corporate Governance’ in 2016.

Besides various assignments starting from the year 1978, she has been Ambassador of India to the Netherlands from July 2010 to July 2013.
