The R&D wing at JSL, Hisar plays a pivotal role in maintaining and consolidating company's leadership in stainless steel by new product and application development, quality enhancement and cost reduction by process improvement and optimization. R&D center interfaces with the marketing and operations on products & application development, technical support and customer value delivery.

Knowledge Center, Hisar & Orissa

Founded on JSL guiding principle of Learning and Development, Knowledge Centers at Hisar and Orissa house a reservoir of vast knowledge resources that are available in the form of books, journals, conference proceedings, standards, training manuals, etc. With a view to taking knowledge to the Shop Floor, Knowledge Kiosks/ Learning Cells have been established at various locations in the works, and also at GET Hostel, Hisar.

Stainless Club, Hisar

In our efforts to create a work-life balance, we have set up the Stainless Club at Hisar. This is one of the premium facilities spread over five acres of lush greenery. It offers a host of state-of-the-art recreational facilities - Swimming pool, Gymnasium, Tennis court, Badminton court, Basketball court, Indoor games, Walking and Jogging tracks, Children's park, well- equipped Library, Free Internet service, Restaurant, Private and Party rooms, Audio-video room etc. The Stainless Club is very active in organising various social and sporting events for employees and members.
