organization capabilities to meet its current and future business needs. Competency
building transcends the program of training to a holistic learning & development
approach towards enhancing knowledge and skills aligned to business strategy.
We emphasize continuous learning and employee training across all levels of employees
spanning technical competence building, self-development, leadership development
as well as behavioral training. A fully equipped technical training Centre at Hisar,
right at the shop-floor focuses and monitors the up gradation of technical skills
including health, safety and problem solving training programs. Apart from the constant
focus on internal training we engage outside consultants to assist us in training
our employees and to enhance their performance. JSL Stainless nominates participants
for MDP at business schools like ISB, IIMs etc.
True to its mission of becoming a learning organization; JSL Stainless has accelerated
its efforts for enhancing and connecting organizational knowledge and corporate
performance. Well-equipped Knowledge Centers at Hisar and Orissa house vast knowledge
resources available in the form of books, journals, conference proceedings, standards,
training manuals, etc and plays an important role in disseminating knowledge. It
provides round the clock Net Library through J-Connect. With a view to taking knowledge
to the Shop Floor, Knowledge Kiosks/Learning Cells have been established at various
locations.
